What is Blue Sky Psych?
Blue Sky Psych is a private psychology practice specializing in mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. We provide support for neurodiverse individuals, as well as those experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, and other challenges.

Who do you work with?
We primarily work with children, teenagers, and adults, as well as parents who need support in understanding and guiding their own/their child’s mental health.

What types of therapy do you offer?
We offer evidence-based therapy approaches tailored to each individual's needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and support for neurodiverse individuals.

How do I book an appointment?

Do you offer in-person and online sessions?
Yes, we offer both in-person sessions at our practice and virtual therapy options, however, have limited availability for in-person sessions.

What are your office hours?
Our hours vary, but we generally offer appointments on weekdays and some evenings and weekends to accommodate different schedules.

How much do sessions cost?
Our session fees vary depending on the service provided. Please contact us directly for detailed pricing information.

Do you accept insurance?
We can provide invoices for clients to submit for reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage and reimbursement options. If you have a referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a rebate on sessions.

Do you offer sliding scale fees?
We believe in accessible care and offer limited sliding-scale appointments based on financial need.

What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know you, discuss concerns, and outline goals for therapy. It’s a collaborative process where we explore how best to support you.

How long does therapy take?
The length of therapy varies for each individual. Some people benefit from short-term therapy (a few months), while others may need longer-term support.

Do you provide parent coaching or family therapy?
Yes! We offer guidance to parents and work with families to improve communication, emotional regulation, and support.

What support do you offer for neurodiverse individuals?
